Do need 2.side-gears for 8-3/4 SUREGRIP UNIT "CONE STYLE"

I'll ask my brother if he still has the original 3:23 limited slip pig I took out of the car a long long time ago. I replaced it with a 3:55 posi.

I am probably the reason for the shortage , I typically crushed the Axle gears & spiders every season , , needed to just build a Dana !!

You can buy a whole new unit for $450 from Summit Racing.
Try Dr Diff he seems to have a bit of stuff.

When I was racing I did use big brother of 8 3/4 the stoud 9 1/4,did buy Moser axle and 8 3/4 axle end.
Sure-grip was cone-type,and it never fail.
8 3/4 spider gear and 9 1/4 spider gear are identical.

IF you are going to buy a new sure grip unit I would never buy the Auburn cone type either use the clutch style or the Trutrac , I would also use Dr diff as a supplier , great company to deal with
