I'd be lying if I said that if at a point I didn't think this car would ever be back together and would end up at the scrapyard. It seems that the end is in sight.
Got the 440 rebuilt, painted up, and bolted to the 46rh trans and sitting in the completely restored K member that I scored a killer deal on. With all factory marking and powder coated parts so its way nicer than I ever would have been able to put together. A rebuilt 8 3/4 with 3:55 gears. This car should be a sweet cruiser. Now I get to call it a day with metal work and start slinging some filler. Completely self taught. I never thought I'd see the day. Still Pondering color choices but I'm leaning towards

What a great car! White is not a color. All the great colors for 71 white isn’t it.

Wow, you have come a long way. My 71 at its worst. Luckily, rockers, frame rails, and torsion bar cross member were rock solid on mine. Second photo is basically how it looks today, did add a wing a while back. I have been busy building a shop, so the Barracuda has been sitting a lot this past nine months. Rod

This car wasn't so lucky. nearly ever panel was toast except for the important bits. And everything saveable needed a lot of work. I swear the county had to use this as their salt spreader
