While cruising yesterday my car turned over 250,000 miles. There's still parts on it that have been along for the 1/4 million mile ride. Namely everything convertible related (minus top/back window, boot and well liner) even the hydraulic fluid is 55 years old, dash frame w/wiring, door & rear inner panels, 3 out of 4 window regulators, steering box & horns, all glass (minus windshield), K member and some of the front suspension. I'm sure if I thought harder there's more but that'll do for now. And yes, I adjusted the odometer's tumblers when I swapped in the rallye dash.

Nice, over what timeframe did you rack up those miles?
4500 miles / yr for 55 yrs?

I bought it Mar. 1979 w/92,836 miles (157,164 put on by me). 2025 - 1979 = 46yrs. Minus off the road about 5yrs (1980, mid’90’s, 2011 & 2020)= 41 cruising seasons = 3,833 miles avg/year. Obviously some years driven more, some less. Oh, and almost, every single mile’s been a joy. Driving back from the Nats in a torrential downpour with a cracked carburetor baseplate and coming upon a couple accident slowdowns wasn’t that much of a joy. Not all the 346 miles were in the downpour at least.

A friend and I bought Demons in 2017. He drives his a lot. It has over 60,000 miles on it. I'm imagine his is the highest mileage and lowest value in the country. But he's had more fun with it than anyone else has had with theirs. And that's what matters. Have fun and enjoy your car. Mopar offered him a 10 year 120,000 mile warranty when he bought his. He took them up an the offer. What a bargain that was. Can you imagine Mopar offering a warranty like that on a Demon? They were making a statement with that.

EW1BH27, your 70 Barracuda looks a lot better than my 70 Challenger with 250,000+ miles! But then mine was driven off a ten foot cliff (by me - black ice), rear-ended while I was driving it, and slammed in the driver's quarter by an idiot shooting out of a parking lot while I was stopped at a stoplight!

Beautiful White Fish, awesome you have enjoyed it on the road and given lots of people the opportunity to see it. That’s what it’s all about. 🏝

Thanks for the compliments. Xcudame, that's some rough miles your car had, glad you persevered through them. Here's a couple more pictures.

Congratulations. Quite the milestone. My red 70 Charger R/T S.E. has 254,000+ miles on it. Over 205,000 by me over the last 37+ years and still unrestored.
