So, anybody have info on this manifold? P/N 05045215AA
It is new and untouched, with no porting.
Info I found says it fits a P8 head on a R6 block.
Which is Greek to me, being a lowly dragracer.
Anyone know if it can be made to work on something else, or if the rest of the motor can be bought from one of the NASCAR resellers of old/obsolete parts?
Or do I put it on the shelf next to my pulse jet and APU gas turbine engines for display?
It does look cool!
It looks like it could be made to work on one of those new fangled chebbie LS motors....(BARF!)

If you don't have any luck here, maybe try to call Petty's Garage or Ray Evernham and see if they could tell you.

Great for a 800 hp small block but finding the R6 Block & P 8 heads will be a challenge !

I tried both NASCAR folks and haven't heard back yet either. Prolly busy last week with holiday stuff.
If I had the room, I would put on the display shelf with the Latham and Frenzel blowers, the 6-71, turbine APU, pulse jet and other cool stuff, but I guess I could extend the shelf...

I wish I could find the extremely old school version of a NASCAR small block Mopar intake. An Edelbrock LD340TA. Looks like a regular LD340, but has oval W2 ports. I'm haunted by the one I picked up in the swap meet at The Mopar Nationals back in the mid 80's. It was just a greasy old LD340 with a $25 price tag. When I saw the oval ports, I figured it was some ol homemade POS that someone had cobbled together. I layed it back down and walked away. Like Red Foreman would say "DUMBASS!!" :BangHead:
