Hi everyone, name is Mike and I just bought a 72 Challenger and cant wait to get started. It is pretty rough underneath. No trunk, no rear floor and rear frame rails are history. It did come with a 383 though so I'm happy.

The pics you show look like a decent body to work with. That trunk pic did someone skim coat the trunk floor with bondo? Good luck with your project!

Thats what it looks like. Some sort of filler. Probably 1/4" thick in places.

Most likely keep it a street car. Previous owner wanted to turn it into a drag car and welded a large bar in to mount the rear suspension. That will have to go. I like the green, and my wife wants it to be orange. Her excuse is I already own a 71 Monte Carlo so this is her car. :)
