Hello everyone, have had a 70 Barracuda for a couple years now, definitely need your help as I try and fix and tweak it to be my own. Mopar people have been a great help with some excellent advice! I just need to get a bigger wallet than what I had with Chevys. My wife has 71 challenger and of course it is closer to being done and mine is sitting in the back for now. It's a bummer, but just for a little while. Hopefully some day I can return the help and info. Thanks

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Let's see some pics and hear some details on both your E-bodies.

Is there really stripes on only one side of that Challenger??? Lol! Just kidding, I'm sure that's not the case. Nice looking cars!

Yup, saving up for the other side as soon as I can sell this old Muncie 4 speed and my loan is approved I can get the other stripe and maybe 1 or 2 more parts. Gotta love Mopars.

I'm learning though. At a local muffler shop had 2 short exhaust pipes bent from a template I made. 2pcs cost $35, thought that was very reasonable. Came back to the same shop to have one more piece made (1 bend and very short) he asked what it was for, I made the mistake (lesson learned) and told him the truth for a 71 Challenger. For a split second he had a look then said $35 for the 1 piece. Now when anyone else asks, I'm working on a Chevy truck.
Someone else said same thing for doing chrome on his bumpers. Cuda bumpers were quoted bid bucks can't remember but a lot. He called back latter and told them he had bumpers for a olds cutlass they said $400.

Yep, these cars aren't cheap to own but damn are they satisfying!
Yes they are and unique.
Went to a car show at Pismo beach ca, 800 cars had 1 challenger, no Cudas, 3-4 roadrunners and chargers 1 dart.
