Howdy, new member from Florida.

I have a 70 Challenger that I’m in the middle swapping in a 5.7 in place of 340. Car was originally a plain Jane 318, so no worries about originality. My goal is to turn the car into something I could drive cross country if I wanted.

Looking forward to gaining knowledge from you guys that have already tackled the issues that pop up along the way.

Welcome Katfish from Los Angeles. I am doing the same but doing a full restoration. I can't wait to get my motor in, I have a blog in the member restoration section if you want to see what I have done. Pictures are always wanted here.

Here's what I'm starting with, pics make it look better than it is.
Definitely a 20 footer, but it's a work in progress, that I like to drive.

Welcome to the site from Arkansas! Sounds like a cool project. There are several on the site that have done what you’re planning. Looking forward to seeing it.
