According to the archives, it was a Dixieland bar on Michigan Avenue on the border between Lansing and East Lansing, Michigan. Sold in April 1972. It then became a rock club called The Brewery and was popular with college students.

That is when the US and Iran were buddies, so much so that it remains to be he only country that the US sold it's F-14s to.
They are still flying them!
