We saw yesterday precisely why you don’t post cars that you want to talk about in the for sale forum....
Lot S229.1
70 A66 Challenger at Mecum Auction in Phoenix in March 2019
Sublime Green w yellow bumble stripe, black interior
4 sp, rallye dash, numbers matching with numbers matching
Wait to see what or if it sells for?

1970 Dodge Challenger | S229.1 | Phoenix 2019 | Mecum Auctions

That is an unusual paint combo, I believe it was featured in a Mopar magazine a few years ago.

Ahhh... !
Did I miss some juicy back and forth amongst friends?
A post gets "cleaned up ", "again! "

Well since I am here; I had never seen that color combo on a Challenger or any other car for that matter, and although i thought yesterday that yellow on green was a bit odd, today, I think its great!

It was initially posted in the for sale forum where comments are not allowed...comments like this car is awesome!:)

Wow gents.
I’m glad that the cars posted are interesting enough to generate a review, conversation and may be have potential buyers checking them out!
Enjoy the journey!

If anyone has an interest in the car, I also posted the fender tag that I decoded in the original posting. Interesting read!
Had to enlarge one of the sale photos to see the numbers.
Happy Hunting!

I think that the Green and Yellow Challenger was a special order for a young Phil Knight. He was just trying different looks on cars before starting Nike and making crazy uniforms for the University of Oregon football team.( Sorry for the strange joke, but living in the state of Oregon makes me thinks of such things.)

Had to lookup "chartreuse" on wikipedia; a riveting read!
Green and chartreuse were meant to be.
But, man.... I'm really liking the sublime and yellow, it's curious!
I will stop looking at this post just in case I decide to paint my next car that color combo.
Gee, thanks very much paharamia.... Lol

Nice! Different! Not really my cup of tea, but I certainly "Wouldn't" kick it out of my garage for having a green posterior stripe.

Nothing fancy but my A66 Challenger was B5 blue with blue interior originally with no stripe.
