oil pan removal on 73 cuda

Can you remove a stock oil pan in a 73 cuda 340 engine to change the oil pick up & strainer and oil pan gasket ? without removing the motor etc

Please process

yes , you will have to disconnect one side of the center link & swing it out of the way

how about the oil pump replacement - how easy is it and where is it located ?

inside the pan at the rear , easy to access , you may want to put a new Melling pump in there too

Good to know about the oil pan. I have a leaky rear main.
