I love the irony of modern pharmacies like Rite Aid or Walgreens.

Have you noticed the pharmacy is located in the back of the store? You have to walk past the beer, the soda, and the cigarettes to get to the pharmacist?

Have you noticed the reader boards? "Flu shots here" are smaller signs than the ads prominently displayed outside the stores for the weekly beer sale?

Most of them pills back there are a lot worse for you than beer. I do remember wondering why the sick people had to walk so far. When I had appendicitis it was a very very very long walk.
