Hi Everyone,

does anyone have a photo of how the door windows on a 70 Barracuda are supposed to contact the weather stripping? I installed new weather stripping for the door and it seems to distort the seal and I have a lot of wind noise. Thanks.

Looks likes the weatherstrip is not installed correctly and the glass needing adjustment. Here's my Challenger and should be the same.

Your weather strip looks a little different. I originally bought weather stripping from Classic Industries which was junk. i replaced it with a soft seal, which is a lot thicker. The channel that the weather strip sits in is adjustable so I adjusted it outward, thinking the window would seal better. The problem I had with the previous weather stripping, because it wasn't thick enough, even with the window tilted inward at the maximum adjustment, it didn't touch the glass. I'm going to change the door seal since the lower front of the window doesn't seal. I tried moving the window forward, which left a gap between the quarter window. The OER brand of weather stripping from Classic industries isn't very good. Classic Industries has been very good at refunding my purchases. Thanks.

The weather stripping on mine is factory original.
