heard someone say to use Clay to check the Valve to piston clearence my question to everybody is where can i find the clay at ????
i also have a new dial indicator an stand should i measure it without the head gasket on ?????

In Australia we get it from any major hardware or arts & crafts store normally you would do with an old head gasket on

turns out i still have the old head gaskets an probly just gonna use a dial indicator instead of the Clay... didnt get the motor back yet still waiting for the cam bearings an Eldelbrock shorted the machine shop 3 valve from his order an wont get them till next week
