If you want original look the Steer & Gear or Firm Feel Stage 3
As an alternative the Borgeson conversion is probably the best upgrade .
The front steer rack & pinion has never really been properly sorted out & you end up with pinto steering .

I fitted the Borgeson and it is very good, far better steering box than the original and a lot smaller. I got the kit/coupler from Peter Bergman.
No modifications required so you can always go back to original.
