Pull Steering Column ?

O.K. it is now time to fix my leaking power steering gear box in my 1970 Challenger.

Do I have to loosen and pull the steering column up and away from the box to unbolt the steering box?

Or, can I knock out the roll pins on the coupler and move the coupler up or down the shaft to gain enough clearance to get the box out?

Thanks,
Merry Mopar Christmas

How does the coupler come off after removing the steer box and where do you get a new one for a '73 challenger?

After attaching the box to the coupling, the box won't reach the side where you mount. It seems too short

The shaft on the box was too short. I returned it and got one that worked, happy with all my new steering components. Just need to go get her aligned
