Hey all,
I put Fitech EFI on my car. With some help from their tech dept. it seems to be running pretty well.

The problem I'm having is wiring the relay that runs the fan. On a realy #30 is straight power from the battery, 87 is fan, 85 is ground (this comes from the fitech unit set at the temp I wish. Now the fan comes on as soon as the battery is hooked up. 86 is where I'm stumped. What do I do with 86? I have looked and read and my small brain is not grasping the concept so I reach out to you.

Thank you

30 fused straight to 12 VDC 87 to fan positive other side of fan to ground
86 (Coil)fused to positive, 85 to fan control wire most of these unit,s turn on the ground wire to energized the relay not the positive.

No to battery positive the coil is the relay coil.
Use a 1 amp fuse in line with the 86 wire
The fitech unit will be damaged if the coil on the relay is damaged.
