Saginaw or Federal power steering pump?

I'm sorry if this topic has been covered. I have a 1970 Cuda (AAR) 340 and I need to replace the power steering pump because the front seal is leaking - profusely. I thought 340 motors had the Saginaw pumps but I ordered one and it didn't fit the brackets on the AAR? It looks like the power steering pump is a Federal? Did Plymouth use one - or - the other on 340's? I had read previous threads on this subject and I thought it was a Saginaw? If anyone knows and would take the time to let me know I appreciate it.

Thank you,

Murray

Hello - I think I found my answer on an A - Body forum. It seems, depending on if you had power steering. My AAR had power steering and 3.55 gears so it came with a Federal for that set-up - from what I read on another site - Steering Pump ID Help......

If this is incorrect let me know - otherwise - thank you!

Yup, federal pump is correct for AAR/TA and I think all 70 340 E-bodies.
