I have an AAR body that I purchased and it came with 2 steering columns (out of the car). It is a power steering column shift automatic car. How can I tell if I have the proper columns as part of the purchase? Is there a part number stamped somewhere? The parts manual is not all that helpful.

Start with this. Check the length of both. See if they are both power steering. Does it have the lock out tube inside?

Auto columns are defacto lockout.
The emergency flasher knob is 70 only.
The igniton lock has a different release dedent holding it the outer collar. A small post instead of a half moon.
70 ignition is chrome, 71 up may be satin.
Locks shown, 70 on right
