Steel Wheel Help

Have a set of 15inch steel wheels. What color should they have been painted in 1971. I have heard they changed to being black sometime in 71. Also if they are supposed to be black what color black? Satin, flat, or gloss?

My November built steel wheel 71 'Cuda had them in matching GB5 blue.

Not certain if or when there was change to black. I did mine body colour.

According to MMC Detroit field guide... the change from body color to black steel wheels took place March 5th, 1971.
