Hey guys, just got my tach from my dad this weekend to drop in my car. Don't know where or how to start. Any suggestions on where/how to get started?

What tach do you have?
This is how it is most of the time.
red - switched 12v
black - ground
white - dash lights
green - coil -
But you never know wire color could be different from tach to tach. Did it not come with instructions?
