Testing the horns

So I bought a set of horns off eBay. The guy said they worked. What is the best way to test them, cause I can't hook them up to the car yet, cause I don't have the electric run yet.

Before you do that, they could be stuck. There should be a screw in the middle area of the horn. It work like the adjustment screw on a set of electric hair clippers. The screw adjusts the vibration/tone of the horn. It may be rusted internally try to soak it with some WD on the inside and out side of the horn overnight before you condemn the horn.

Yes, soak them in WD40, just shake them dry before you tie them to the battery.
Tap them lightly with a hammer to loosen any rust.
Worked for me.
