i had my car at a shop for a long time. The pulled most the wiring in the car which is no big deal. After twenty two years of sitting a new wiring harness won't hurt a thing with a new engine/transmission. I was looking at the wiring harness and didn't notice a plug that looked like it would fit. Is that a separate wiring item that I need to pick up? I saw wires for manual transmission but not an auto. Could someone fill in this gap for me. In the past the plug was just hanging there and I just plugged it in. Didn't pay attention to where it was on the main wiring harness.

Been a while, but I believe it may plug directly into main connector.
It's a stand alone harness.
Look at pics of harness at Year One, if it has big plastic connector, that's where it goes.

It is a stand alone 3 wire harness that plugs into the neutral safety switch on the driver side of the transmission, then (on my 1973 Barracuda) runs over the bellhousing to the passenger side, then up the firewall and into the wire loom holders on the firewall and if I remember correctly, terminates on the starter relay on the driver side inner fender.
