Hi,

I'm looking for the following .

Carpeting for a 70 Challenger . Condition does not matter so long it is (original) and (Black) , and has the driver side foot pad still in place.

Don't want reproduction.

Hi,

It' s an auto with a console. Bare hump should also work.

I forgot to specify the color. It needs to be black.

Thanks

I purchased a new repro for my 70 Challenger. Haven't gotten around to it but will be pulling out my old (original) auto with console black carpet. Haven't really looked it over just freshening with a complete new interior.

I finally got my old out but not sure how to tell if it's original or repro? What's the easiest way to tell? I was told by the owner it was original but I don't think it is. He told me some other "untruths". Not quite done with it as I need to use it as a pattern a bit to cut around the console/shifter. If I take a pic will that help?

Hi Mark, Thanks for responding. I'd greatly appreciate a picture of the underside of the carpeting , especially of the padding. Also it'll be great if you can get a photo of the carpet- side (the side that faces up) as well ...especially the driver's foot-well area where the rubber foot pad is located.

The repros all have the modern jute padding glued on the back , whereas the original backing was made out of coconut husk fiber. I've attached a link that gives you an idea what the material looks like.

Thanks again.
