What size tip

Should I use a 1.4 of 1.5 tip when spraying enamel with my hvlp spray gun? Using restoration shop paint.

Enamel? What are you painting? Anyway, you should be ok with either because you can adjust the amount of reducer in the paint, the air pressure, and fluid knob on the gun. Just shoot a test pattern on a similar surface until you are happy with the coverage and viscosity. And use some type of inline water filter/trap.
