The fender tag has been out there on the Internet before but I do not remember when or where.
Not sure if it is a repro tag or the original.
This
LINK discusses this "Pilot" car and again at this
LINK.
A different site, Moparts.org, noted these Pilot cars for 1971 Barracuda/Cuda.
1971 known surviving E-body "pilots":
BH23C1B100121 "CAR" 000114
BS23H1B100126 "CAR" 000141
BS23R1B100378 "CAR" 000143
It is on several dealer sites for sale in the past.
With its revised Grill, Lights and Fender Gills, the 1971 Cuda is easily recognizable and considered by many to be the pinnacle in the Cuda line....

FYI - The early Billboard stripe option code was V26 and only in Black and BS23H1B100126 (CAR 000141) has V26 on its fender tag.
Note: The side marker should be blacked out with paint for Billboard-optioned Cudas.
