I am trying to finish the interior of my 74 Cuda which originally had a white interior. I bought a legendary headliner, sail panels, visors and front and rear seat covers. And I bought the new metro door panels. What brand of A Pillars is everyone using I have seen the new palco pillars and they look alot better than the original ones they sold?? I also would like to know what paint to use to repaint the moulding that is around the windows and what runs along the headliner?? Thanks for any help anyone can give me!!

I went through the same thing. I bought year one paint and it didnt match the legendary interior color white. I had to repaint all my trim to match. I used metro paint, almost perfect match. I bought all my panels from legendary except seat backs and a pillars. They were palco and they didnt match worth a crap. Only problem with metro paint is the price. Hope this helps. Rick

Thankyou for the reply, it helps me to choose the right paint. I asked quite a few different people and places including restoration places and you were the only one that actually answered my question. Since my cuda is bright red the best choice was a white interior to make it pop. Guess I will be ordering palco a pillars and metro white paint so I can finally finish my interior. Thanks again Chris

To get the closest color match for any color, take a piece of the material color that you want to match to your local automotive e paint supply dealer. They can color match virtually any color by using a computer to match your sample. What is the color of the trim now ? Remember that like painting your cars exterior, the primer color or color under your new paint color will be affected by the color you are covering.
