Windshield Seal Diameter

What is correct windshield seal diameter kit (3M sells 1/4" and 3/8")

Want to be sure the windshield stainless surround trim fits nice afterwards.

I used 5/16 . I thought the 3/8 was to big and the windshield sat to high when I did the challenger.

I picked up the 3M Ribbon Sealer kit; came with the setting blocks. I used the 5/16 kit to mimic factory install. One caveat; I used a replacement windshield since my original was cracked. Replacement windshields are a little thinner then originals, so the the 5/16 kit worked well for me. Be aware of this difference if using your original windshield!

Also, change out your molding clips. Buy replacements from Roseville. Other vendors sell clips that are shorter then stock, so be aware. (Originals on left)
