WTB Original 1970 B body shocks. Part number on fronts are 3004960 or possibly 961, casting number 2462067. Part numbers on rears 2585617 or possibly 618, casting numbers 3400592 or 2834892.

May possibly trade NOS 1970 Hemi E body rears, casting number 3400854. Thank you

Didn't know we had a "lingo" of castings and stampings. Some of the younger or newer guys might not know that "lingo".
Just trying to avoid confusion for some people.
Vin numbers are stamped into the engine block, trans pan rail, firewall, radiator support, trunk rail, fender tag, vin tags etc.. Date codes are stamped into steel wheels etc. Never heard them called casting numbers. Any part that is cast has a casting number to id the part.
This is just for the other guys that might not know. Thanks

You are correct, of course. If I mis-spoke, the cast number reference is intended to refer to the numbers stamped into the barrel at the bottom of the shocks that I seek. Thank you again.
