RTS Cuda Fender Tag (2).jpg

It is an odd LA tag with BS23V9E100005. The only 1969 E-Body?

I would like to know if there could possibly be a broadcast sheet or two still in the car. Glovebox top or inside a seat back?

The color scheme was pretty slutty, I like it !

With serial number five that was built as a pilot car. The fender tag is just a factory misprint, where they didn't update the sixth digit to the zero yet.

Cool story. When I first saw it I thought the RTS was the Sonic Cuda, but its not. In the late 1970's I bought this '72 Cuda from a friend who was the original owner and had the Sonic-styled paint applied. Was a 340 4-speed car.

Barracuda in the background was a '64-1/2 that was originally a 273 4-speed car that later got a 340 6-pack engine bought at a boneyard from a wrecked T/A Challenger. Like the guy in the video says, back in the day these were just cars, and we drove, modified, and raced them without giving it a second thought.
