I replaced my lower door hinge on my 70 Challenger with a amd replacement. When I open or close the door and the rollers push the spring back, it requires a LOT of force, makes a LOUD crack sound and the door shakes. Is there any adjustment or different mounting method?

Only 1 way they go.
Sounds like a frozen door check roller.
Warranty time and labor again.
Thanks for the tip on the roller, if it came lubed, I must have removed it prepping it for paint, so a little oil and all is OK.

I never paint the rollers. And recommend that my customers mask off the rollers before lightly spraying the hinges with body color after hinge installation. An airbrush works great.
