I.D. numbers K - Frame Member question.

anyone know where to find numbers for reference to check what I have.

I sand blasted this K frame I bought from a guy who said it was from his B body.

in the crown of the front center are the numbers stamped -
0 4 7 0
or
C 4 7 0

It has a tag welded on the right upside down 12 -


before I begin to install this, just want to make sure its good for my 71 barracuda.
I plan to install an 440.

I have a second K member from a 73 cuda - in measuring all is close and seems the same,
except for the out side holes and frame are apx 3/8 longer/wider.

the center stamp should be the date code 4th 70 maybe.
I have a 70 A66 340 PS Sway bar also has the no 12 tag

The 12 did come from a '70 E body with 318, 340 or 383 from the factory. They show a different part number for the 440 but that's probably just because the 440 unit had a skid plate.

How early was your build i haven't seen a round coin like that they have all be oval shaped
Did they change from oval to round or the other way around

My A66 Challenger vert had a October 7 scheduled build date. My k frame was dated the 3rd week of October 1969.

1970-71 factory 440 k frame if it had a coin would be stamped with “74” last two digits of the part number; 3583074
