Hi folks,

Im thinking to add the shaker hood and bubble air intake for a 70 challenger, can you tell me all the references that I need to convert?? Can I find quality repros or I need vintage parts?

Thanks in advance
Best regards

We have purchased two hoods from AMD with minor issues but turned out fine. Shaker Hood company I think they are in Oregon, has complete Shaker parts kits, great quality, but you'll pay for it. They have multiple kits for every engine 340 and up. If you have A/C you'll need a special compressor and Buchilion Performance in Charleston SC has the mounting brackets and compressor. Picture using the parts described above. Steve

Anything can be done with a little eginuity and custom fabrication. I have alot of man hours in fabricating my Super Shaker with a tunnel ram and two 1050 dominators.
I stretched the opening length 2" on the hood, bubble and base. I raised the height 4-1/2" on the bubble and opened up the openings 2-1/2" taller. All still mounts to the engine, seals to the hood, still shakes as a Shaker should.
