    Rear wheel trim

Jim, thanks for your comment, looking back I should have taken the time to do a better job. I'm waiting to hear from Bill, the fellow I sent the rear trim to. He said he would call and give estimate but it won't matter unless it's over a thousand or more. Then again restoring a e body is like...

    Plastic loop on console

When I was a little younger 4 speeds is all I would drive, now a little older my left knee is better off with a slapstick, not as much fun!

    Carrier to housing nuts

Wondering if it would be good to replace the carrier to axle housing factory nuts with the nylock type nuts. Factory didn't use lock washers, just tightened down to 45. ft lbs and I guess that's all that's needed. The nuts are pretty thick and probably have a lot of holding strength compared to...

    Plastic loop on console

It always amazes me when I see all the consoles at swap meets and on this site including my small collection of 5, where are all the cars they came out of.

    Rear wheel trim

Posting pictures of the c clamps and cut pieces of different thickness of paint sticks used in the very crude and unrehearsed you tube video I made some years ago installing wheel trim.

    Rear wheel trim

Posting pictures of factory wheel trim showing clamp marks that show up at both ends only on the inside where the molding faces the mounting lip. The outside shows no clamp marks and was probably cleaned up before it was anodized. It must be quite an operation, maybe sometime it will show up On...

    Rear wheel trim

The first set I started with came from year one. They fit pretty good until I got to the lower bottom of the quarter panel where the body makes that beautiful 45 degree turn in. That section towards the back of the car being more pronounced then the lower front area are where the after market...

    Front valance

I used AMD on my 71, it fit really good. I didn't have a choice as when the body came back from being media blasted the front valance must have a couple quarts of bondo on it because I asked if my body man if his grandson was playing with his hammer.

    Plastic loop on console

I would like to see if there would be any interest in the console if I moved it to the parts for small section being in good condition and being green in color. Thanks fly"NFISH for an answer.

    Plastic loop on console

Come to think about it, reminds me of a hang on for dear life strap for the passenger when driver opens up the four barrel and holds the throttle down for a while. Who knows what somebody was thinking drilling a hole in a pretty decent console.

    Rear wheel trim

Finally gave up on trying to bend aftermarket rear wheel trim to look halfway decent where the quarter panel makes a hard angle near the bottom at the rear of panel. I had bought original trim years ago and decided to check the fit on the AMD replacement quarters. After a little careful bending...

    Plastic loop on console

I have a green console that has a plastic loop installed on the right side. Has any one ever seen any other ones that may have this sort of thing installed or is it something that's been added.

    Mopar Thefts at the Factory

Hardly nobody at work brings lunch like we use to, everybody eats out, I guess stuff still gets out the door just not in lunch boxes.

    1971 Cuda Road Lamp Routing

I've thinking about adding them to my Barracuda, I like the way they look, my wife doesn't like them or billboards so may do some research on the road lamps just to give her something else to complain about spending more money. I've heard even the mounting brackets are hard to find. I did a lot...

    Fedup with Fitech

Thanks for the reply, I'll get going on that project. May try a sniper setup, was going the Fitech route but have heard some good and not so good about their tech support. Did you use a 3/8 supply line?

    Water Damaged Barracuda

Jimmy speed, what digital gauges would you use on the rallye clusters?

    Fedup with Fitech

Can I ask what fuel tank and vent you are using, planning on installing efi on my 71 Barracuda. When I read what fuel pump you were using I'm thinking it must be a Tanks fuel tank. I'm trying to figure out the vent part of the conversion since the factory had a plumbing array that I don't think...

    VX6 Fender tag code

Posting pic of fender tag in hopes that will help to figure out the options on this car. Previous owner had highlighted the codes on the tag. I like all the options except the luggage rack, when I bought it there was a Go wing in place of the rack.

    Fender Tag Question

I'm trying to determine what the small square metal piece that was installed under the main fender tag from my 71 Barracuda. It has a small hole punched into it. A buddy said it was put there for the engine guy on the assembly line to install a Hemi instead of the little 318 if they had any...
