I have a set of 14" rally wheels on my 70 challenger now. Fit fine and no clearance issues.

Was thinking about going with a Road Wheel combo, as a swap once in a while, but it seems that all Year One has are 17", which I think will be too big for clearance on my car, which sits factory to low already.

There is a Magnum 500, which is all chrome, but I think I'm going to want the Black Road Wheel (stainless, I understand) and then a brushed trim ring over that..

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

17 inch wheels won't be a clearance issue with the correct size tires. 17 inch wheels just require a shorter sidewall to work. Something like a 245/45/17, or 235/50/17 are close to stock height. The plus side of 17's is there is a much better tire selection then either 14's, or 15's. That said, if you want a more stock appearance, then 15's will work as noted above.

The true road wheels were 14” as stated. I put on Wheel Vintiques 84 series 15x7 Road Wheels with Roseville Mopart’s chrome trim rings. For tires I’m experimenting with Vitour ‘V’ rated 235/60-15s. Got about 500 miles on them. So far so good.

Coker Tire should have what you need in both tires and wheels. They have OE steel road wheels, rallies, or custom styles. Great tech staff as well!
