Buffed first shot, still need to glaze and polish, very pleased with how the paint was put down, very slick

My Barracuda is HOME,... now the fun begins. Of course the first thing was to take off the rolling shoes and put on my new Ridler wheels and Firestone tires....I am so happy with the quality of the paint... Shop was a PIMA but was worth it. BCC Unlimited in Sante Fe Springs California. Owner Doug is a Super nice guy. The number is 562.774.3222

Why is the primer so shiny? No, seriously, it looks great. After you start throwing lights, trim, etc. on, it will really look wicked.

Hey folks, back to work on the car after building a new bathroom. Finished the trunk area and back of car, now starting the wiring on the front. Should be pretty straight forward with my Hotwire harness.

4 hours later the front bumper is installed. I did not ever think it would have taken that long to get close. I now see that the header panel is not perfect. GRRRRRRR...the Body shop did not test fit the front bumper, my bad I guess.

You will always be your own biggest critic. That's because you are analyzing every single step you make and don't step back and look at the big picture. From my perspective, it looks totally amazing and perfect.

Thanks John, you are right. I want things to be spot on perfect, anything less and I think I have failed. Your wisdom is up lifting. Thanks

Fabulous build. I like your bold move width the gray paint choice against the blue interior.

are you still thinking about applying Hemi billboards? What colors are you considering?

Thanks Flat-Tappet, yes as soon as I finish the assembly, I am going to place one of the billboards on ...They are Matt black like everything else. We will see how it blends. The paint is so good, I actually hate to cover it up though.

Since this is not a numbers matching restoration personally I would cut out the numbers from the original sheet metal and safeguard it rather than try and weld it into brand new AMD sheet metal unless you feel that you can weld them in place and make it look flawless. My point is that if it doesn't look as though it wasn't done (meaning that a person will not be able to tell it has been welded in) it will be a point of discussion down the road and since it isn't a high end restoration, it doesn't matter but if you have the numbers you are good.
I would put the numbers back. Makes it tougher on thieves. With the only vin being on the dash pad, the car could become a target.

You know how good it feels to be now working on the inside. Started to install the sound deadener today. Door & Quarter glass with a lot of help from member Mark. Then soft goods dash and seats.

Wiring update, have most of the harness installed, it fit tight with the PCM, relays and fuses in the passenger kick panel area. Hope to get master cyl, dash and steering in this weekend
