70 Barracuda, 318 auto on column, power drum brakes, B7 blue with A/C and blue interior. Still has fender tag. Car was brought to Texas in late 90's and has sat since then. Typical rust in floors and trunk from wet carpet and trunk mat. Some rust behind the rear wheels in the lower quarters but not real bad. No rust in frame or any other place from salt. Still has motor, tranny and 8 1/4 rear end. Most of the parts for this car are still intact. Perfect for resto-rod or clone. I have plenty of pictures and I have sold lots of cars so I am familiar with most all the questions you are going to ask, and have honest answers. It has a title. It would be best to PM me your phone number so we can talk. I don't want to send 50 people pictures without talking to you. This car is very fixable. $4000

Cool car with a good price.
I'm curious as to why the 73 is 8500 and the 70 is 4000. Usually it's reversed.
I'd normally be all over this. Good price.

Well, it’s been two hectic days advertising these two cars, but they are both sold. They were both good cars but I needed the room and I’ve been planning the sale for some time. The reason for the price is simple. The 70 needed a lot and I thought I had it priced fairly correctly. Judging by my response to the add, I may have missed it a little. I made the deal to the first kid that called and stuck to it, even though I had several that insisted they “had cash and the trailer already hooked up”. I’m sure they would have been happy to pay more for putting them at the top of the list. However, I don’t do that. If the money is the only reason you are in this hobby, you’ll never be happy. It went to a 20 year kid who had been looking for one for two years and they always get bought out from under him before he can get there. His Dad and him are building the car together. His Dad has a terrible disease, he has a Ford Mustang! I hope we can cure him before it’s too late. Anyway, they are both excited and realize the got a good project car. The price on the 73 reflected it’s condition to me. It was a nice car and all there. And I have to give good guy alert to quapman here. He was first on the picture list on it and then a high school shop teacher called and said they were looking for a barracuda to hodrod for a school project. They placed third last year at state to two hotrods so they wanted a Cuda to do this year. The only one they had found was a wrecked 72 for over $15 grand! They really wanted my car. So I called quapman and he graciously bowed out so the kids could get the car. That’s cool in my books. Thanks again, quapman. Bottom line is we now have two cars being repaired that have been forgotten since the mid nineties AND they next generation is making it happen!!

Dematt1, I’m afraid to tell you what I have left. I might have to kill you! Lol. Seriously! I opened a can of worms with my $4000 Cuda. I’ve collected this stuff for 35 years, dismantled some and stored parts and complete cars inside and out of the weather. I just bought out my friends 30 year collection of 70 Cuda parts so I’ve got work to do getting stuff back together to sell. I will contact a couple of people that called about these adds first and then post it on Craigslist. Craigslist got the faster results. Next time will be one car at a time and I will reevaluate my pricing strategy for sure. Quapman will get the first shot, for sure.

I was bummed being so far away to not be able to make a deal. But, after hearing this, that is damn cool of you!! I bought my 70 convert in Sept. of '88. Had it ever since. I hope history repeats itself with this here. Awesome!!

I don't deserve any special thanks. This actually gives me a little time to get a Challenger done and gone to make room for a cuda! :p
