I am selling my 1970 challenger.
It started life as a 6 cyl ,3 speed on the floor,Deputy special. Came in Go Mango Orange with a burnt interior.
When I got the car it was purple with a 340, auto and 8 and 3/4 rear, sitting on slicks.
My intention was to make a 440 4 speed, six pack car.
I am now looking to sell as I've found a car I, been hunting for a while, and need the capital to pull it off.
The car currently does not have an engine, it has a small block auto trans and 8 and 3/4 rear.
The car is super straight and does not appear to have ever been hit. It has a black interior now. It must have been a theft recovery at some point, because there is no burnt orange interior any where, and where the quarter windows would have been fixed ( on a deputy special), it now has roll up windows. It appears that the entire interior was swapped out, including the dash and VIN. The "new" dash replacement does not have a VIN plate. I do have a clear title marked salvage, and i do have the CHP riveted vin plate on the drivers door jamb, that matches the data plate. No broadcast sheet. Car is super straight and shows no sign of being in any kind of serious wreck.
It has some peeling paint around the rear window showing some rust but not perforated yet. the trunk sheet metal directly above the tank is the only bad panel on this car, it might be salvageable, but is soft.
The grill and tail panel are gorgeous for their age. Drivers door closes solid but can use a hinge rebuild, the passenger side is solid and sound. Has nice antenna, and original jack hook. all stainless looks good and will clean up nicely. The only body damage is on pass fender and door, looks like something scraped up against it, and a small dent on drivers quarter in front of side marker light, that is it. I put the hood on and it is in ok shape but has a few pin holes on it, i think it is salvageable.
I have for this car a lot of parts, Dana w 513 gears, 18 spline transmission, cast iron six pack intake, Heavy duty front brakes with spindle, front valence, rally dash and switch plate, rally temperature control plate, radio plate, 4 light rally dash light bracket extra nice taillight lenses, an extra nice backup light, an extra right tail light and bezel, left and right mirrors, nos outer door handles, a nice standard steering wheel, a set of headers, a set of 906 heads built by McCandless and a set of 1970 bucket seats.
I am selling the car and parts together for 18k obo I may sell the car only if the price is right.
If you need to see better pics of certain areas text me at (805)732-3273 Thanks Bryan

Yeah I see people complain about posting pictures , it's not bad just have to post less than 10 at a time.

I had put this car on eBay and what it bid up to didn't even cover the parts that go with it.
It looks like its a buyers market, at least for the projects out there.
My reserve was 14k, If anyone on this forum is interested and can get close to my reserve Pm me.

Yeah, I wouldn't be selling it, but I had a car come up that I've been trying to get for a while, and just clearing out the space and coming up with some $.
I had a mustang convertible up for sale that did a bit better than i expected, but it was a done car and gorgeous.
If it don't sell the challenger, Ill end up building it.
