I have a 70 challenger rt, 383 N code car. I know the correct intake manifold is a 2951666 part number. But I have seen 2 different versions of the intake. One with 4 holes where carb goes and one with 2 big oval openings where carb goes.
Which one is correct for a 70 challenger rt 383??

I think the 4-holes style was a carryover from the 60s and at some point it changed over to the ovals, not sure when exactly. So for example an early build 70 might have the 4 holes but a late spring build car might have the ovals.

Ok. I took off the aftermarket intake and put on the stock oval 2951666 manifold. Just trying to have the engine as correct as it can be for 1970 383 HP even though it's a 69 383 non matching numbers engine....but at least it will look factory correct
