Has anybody used any reproduction fenders or doors for a 1973 Challenger? I was wondering on who made the best ones and how was the fit. Thanks

If AMD is making them(fenders), they’re the best. I haven’t looked at a recent catalog.

Agreed. I have used Goodmark and AMD fenders; AMD is far better; I would avoid Goodmark.

Here is a Goodmark fender and AMD door skin. They didn’t match; I had to weld a small piece of welding rod to close the gap. I had to do this to both sides, ie Goodmark fender to factory door.

I recommend you use the same brand fender & door, but you should still expect they will need some work.

My new driver’s side Goodmark fender in the above post was eventually scrapped and replaced with an AMD. It was about 3/8 too short. When the hood was put on the fender it wasn’t even close to the front edge of the hood. If I slid the fender forward the door gap was huge.. also, the fender was bowed outward along the hood gap making it impossible to get a straight hood to fender gap. Lastly the Goodmark fender did not have the correct threaded number adjustment fitting, as shown on this original.

That was a few years ago, I do not know if Goodmark improved, but all the
AMD stuff was excellent.
