1974 Plymouth cuda for sale 1,500
360 automatic, nice interior, no rust noticeable.
Car is in black primer … I am seriously considering the car.
Is this about the right price for a 74 ?
Please advise ....thanks

More info would be helpful. Any mechanical updates? Numbers matching? Road ready? Is it a BH or a BS? Other options? Fender tag or build sheet?

Car originally a 318, now sporting a 360
Car is road worthy. I believe the dash board is down in the car (voltage limiter) temp, fuel, oil pressure doesn't work.
Speedometer busted.
Sports new wheels & tires.
I haven't seen the fender tag. but I do have more pictures

I have pictures of the under carriage the frames are in very good shape, I cannot detect any rust at all, no rust in the truck area.... I do know the 74's just aren't desirable as the earlier years but can still be "

I’m going to say he’s a bit high on the price based on how much doesn’t work. It’s fair to say it’s not road worthy at all in fact because of that. They didn’t make as many of these in ‘74 as in the previous years so they’re rare and it’s a Cuda so it’s desirable.
Factor in the cost of fixing what doesn’t work and the price of a good paint job and compare it against what these are going for when they need nothing.

DetMatt1, thank you for your sage wisdom.
in your opinion what would be a fair counter offer, I still have a 5 hour travel to where it is at, rent a trailer from u-haul and 5 hours back.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Well some quick research didn’t tell me much, there’s only 1 on eBay currently, none in the sold listings and Carsonline.com has several but they make this one look like a good deal so...
He’s not too far off but he’s not selling it very smartly with all of the non operable stuff which gives you some leverage.
If you’re absolutely sure there’s not a bunch of bad bodywork under that primer offer him 12k and see what happens. If you meet somewhere in the middle you’ll probably both be happy. Hell show him 10k to start with and leave the other cash in the truck.

Thanks for the objective point of view, I think I'll pass on this one 10k to purchase, another 12 - 13 to get it painted and road worthy. if anyone else is interested in it the car is listed on racingjunkdotcom
