I’m wondering what the part number is for the fuel pump for a 71 440 six pack. Also is there any where you can buy a original fuel pump.

Have you tried Rock Auto or is that not original enough ? I doubt there are any 50 year old pumps left that are still good .

Ok thanks yea it’s for a restoration. And I didn’t know if there was any one that rebuilt the originals or if it was even possible. I just don’t want to use the adapter that you have to with the current carter pumps.

What adapter? It bolts up as does the original and was a very popular upgrade back in the day.

I was referring to the new replacement pumps for the fuel lines you need a adapter. Not the pump you had in the link. I’m looking for restoration project not a upgrade.
