Hey! New guy here. I have a 1970 Dodge challenger RT that I am currently working on. The front brake calipers were both seized up after sitting for 42 years. I have ordered 2 different sets of calipers and they won't fit on the car. The first set I got from orielly and I had to hammer the caliper on the bracket. Then I couldn't get the bolts to line up. So I ordered a set of remanufactured ones off ebay. Same thing. I got to looking at the new VS the old ones, and the thickness of the tab where the bolt goes through is different. The tab won't go down far enough to allow the bolt to line up. Did they make different types of calipers for the 70 Challenger? Also the brake pad on the outboard side won't fit onto to caliper. I have to hammer it on. Anyone else seen this problem? I ordered a 3rd set from NAPA. They are rebuilt so I hope they fit. They are supposed to be remans. Thanks for any advice!
