Got the engine bay painted. Project was stalled for 2 years due to a BAD shop that defaulted on my contract. Found a great guy locally who is as crazy about Mopars as most people on this site (Positively Meant!) :).

Putting motor in from up top as my fully rebuilt suspension is in place....that's my built 340 sitting on the engine stand ready to go.

I swung my 340 motor and auto trans in from the top also. Tight fit, but with a helper and using the load leveler that allows you tilt the assembly, it will go in.

Thanks I bought a load leveler from Northern Tools for JUST that. I am going to put the tranny in from underneath...

Looks GREAT - my project has taken years but it will be worth it when done (and I am closing in on it) - nice looking car Todd!!

Thanks - finished the K Frame paint this weekend. And pulled steering column and painted steering box. Sneaking up on it!

Motor in.....jacking whole car up today to make room for Tranny.....anyone have a recommendation on an aftermarket 727 dipstick?

The color looks really good with engine installed !!
Body color in the engine bay really sets it off nice !!
Thanks - these cars are such a labor of love. I also am in the middle of the steering column rebuild. Original car was a column shift. So had to buy new collars for the slapstick conversion

Just dropped in my rebuilt 340 over the top. Installed the rebuilt trans from under using a trans jack from Harbor Freight. All is good. Like seeing your continued progress! Phil

Do you happen to have any before pics of the rust and car?
Looking great now!
I'll vouch for those videos Cuda Cody puts out. Very informative.

Nice Phil - Did you use the tranny attachement for a regular hydraulic jack?
