Hello just was hoping to get some feedback on the best way to restore and fix a grill. Mine is in good shape other than just two areas. Which I will post. One area behind the grill plastic fins is missing and one side mount tab needs fixed.

Also what is a good way to per say strip it down and repaint it so it looks like new? What paint? Or what is the best way to restore it?

Herbs and Totally Auto have the correct argent paints for your grill. You can also buy plastic repair/weld kits.

There is a product used for fixing flexible bumpers, I used the "Lord Fusor " brand. It is very tough and dries in a couple of minutes.. Excellent for repairing cracks from the back side. This will add a lot of strength and minimize the cosmetic work on the front side. For my black grill I used a black paint from TCP Global, named "Hot Rod Black" it looks like black plastic but is a urethane paint and is very tough.. for and argent grill I would also check Herbs / Totally Auto.

I used Eastwood plastic repair, the nice thing is it comes with a clay to make a mold of a good tab or grille bar to make a copy for missing parts. I fixed several cracks on a 71 Duster Sharktooth grille with good results and finished in Paint from Totally auto. I have also used Herbs paints with good results also.
Here is a link to what I used.
