A/C evaporator fitting

I have a 72 challenger with a/c. When I bought the car they had the fitting on the fire wall cut off. Do you know where I can get that fitting? It is the small one on the evaporator side.

It's part of the evaporator. You need a new one.

Or if you have removed the evaporator from the car, you can take it to a hose maker in your area and they can weld a new fitting on and pressure test it. But if the evaporator has been open to the atmosphere for a long period of time and that really applies to the whole a/c system, you should just replace the system with modern R134-a compatable parts.
