Isn't it great to look back in time to what we remember as " the good old days" ? You could walk into that dealership with 4Gs in your pocket and drive out with a very cool Mopar that would put you at the top of the pecking order out on the street! And a postage stamp was only 6 cents and a gallon of Sunoco 260 was 38 cents!

It would be great to have that advertising signage from this era, look at all of it just in that little area.

My dad bought a slant-six duster in 1970 and I was 15 yrs. old. I sat in a butterscotch 383 cuda with billboard stripes in the showroom while he did his deal. I remember being thrilled to see 150 on the speedometer. Three years later, when he convinced me to buy a new car instead of some guy's used Chevy II, I remembered that cuda and that's how I came to buy the 74 cuda that I still have. This pic took me back to that day again in the showroom. Very Cool!!
