aar rear spring higth

i restored my aar rear springs with part number 3400048 and installed. passinger side leaned. i ordered new leaf springs from eaton detroit springs. put next to my originals and they dont have near the arch as mine. i talked to them they said aar springs were susposed to measure 7 7/8 in. arch my original measure 8.5 the new ones measure 7.25. does anyone know what is correct for a aar cuda. they said my originals have been altered.

Can you provide a link to what you got? I'm thinking their correct.
there web site does not give any measurement other than 2.5 wide 5 leaf. i don't see one on your post that fits.
.the closest has 6 leafs. i can not find the 3400048 in any assembly manual the same for any aar parts

I have a nice set of originals, that I haven't used for fear of being too high.
Sitting on the spring eyes, hard to read without dragging them out, but I would say 8.75".
