Advice on a coolant overflow tank for street/strip challenger

You can get sever designs from Summit or Jegs but our track only require a 12 ounce can aka soda pop can, well attached.

Its for safety. They don't want anybody spilling coolant or any other liguid for that matter on the track. Can you say spin out and crash ? Get a universal. It is best to have one even if you weren't racing. Keeps the coolant level topped at all times.

I see the universal ones in Jegs and Summit all the time. Ron

on my wifes I used one from a 80-82 chebby van, it installed on front side of the core support(so its not visible in the engine bay. its cube shaped and it about 5-6" square.

Plumbed mine with black -6 hose to match the rest of the stock them but race engine on my car.

I used one from Summit. It's nice and effective. Wedges in pretty good. See pic front right and in front of radiator. It's tall an hooks up stupid easy. Had to make a couple brackets but hey it's worth it.

Don’t forget that u need the proper rad cap. It will have 2 rubbers for the coolant recovery system to work. Kim
