I do on my blue Challenger. 3-1/2" off of the headers with a Dynomax bullet muffler that I cut in half and made 2 mufflers out of 1.

3 1/2" might be a little big for a small block! 😂

It kind of depends on how loud you want it!

What engine (modifications) and what is your intent? Strictly racing, street only, combo?

2.5 from headers to x pipe, then run along the tunnel to Summit welded mufflers, Turn downs come out of the mufflers towards the tires.

Engine is a small block at 11:1, so its got a bit of growl too it. It doesn't seem loud idling in the garage. I haven't got it out on the street yet. I anticipate it may be a bit loud and possibly drone at road speeds because at a certain angle, you can see straight through the muffler. Contemplating running tubes over the axle into a resonator if it is, but we'll see. I might also consider a swap to Dynomax Super Turbos to tone it down. We'll see once I get it on the road regularly

I dropped mine off at the muffler guy and said I wanted 2.5" pipes and electric cutouts. He did the rest. The cutouts sit a little (lot) lower than I was hoping for, but they're fun and the exhaust looks good when I'm under it.

If you live/drive on a dirt road, be aware that the exhaust going up and over the axle then dumping downward will kick up a lot more dust than a straight exit parallel to the ground.

I just have 2-1/2" full duel exhaust on my red Challenger with Flowmaster mufflers to the stock tips. It sounds great. Nice rumble and not too loud.
