Are Strut bars heated treated? Yes or no

My driverside strut bar is bent and I am thinking about trying to straighten it. Does anyone know if these bars are heat treated?

I don't believe they are. I have straighten one of mine and worked without any problems!

I straightened mine as well, just hit with a little two pound sledge until it rolled smoothly on the ground... perfect.

I do believe heating them up too much may cause them to possibly crack.
The way we were taught to straighten things like that was - do it cold using a hydraulic press.
Essentially do the opposite of what bent it in the first place.
